Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for a Customs Clearance Coordinator to join our team to provide a seamless service. If you’re looking for a role within a diverse, friendly & positive environment, with a desire to succeed… we have an opportunity for you!

Working shifts, any 5 days out of 7, at our site in Larkhall, you’ll be dealing with import and export Customs Declarations. We know how fast new regulations can be put in place, and you’ll be liaising with customers and dealing with any queries which may arise. We’ll need you to work quickly but accurately to ensure we are delivering a great service, operating within procedures for customs clearance. You will be joining a dedicated team, to deliver an efficient customs clearance service moving cargo between UK and EU. You will be required to have a good level of IT skills, as various systems will be used for customs entries and details online. You will be trained and supported in Customs clearance documentation, checking customer satisfaction, be able to advise customers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements and all other customs related matters. DFDS will also help the successful candidate with their Level 2 Customs Academy course
