DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV / 7.5 Tonne Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- 48 hours per week, 6am start, 2 shift patterns available - Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday
- You will be delivering household white goods such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridge freezers etc...
- Wets installation training will be provided as this will be required in customers homes.
- Some manual handling will be required.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Hold a valid HGV 7.5 Tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- 2 years experience of driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle (Desirable)
