Digital Marketing Assistant

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Assistant to work for our client a Digital Marketing Agency near Port Sunlight, Wirral.

The main focus will be to facilitate content creation across a range of digital marketing channels for their various clients as well as in-house marketing activities. You’ll also be liaising with clients to keep them up to date with performance of marketing activities and making suggestions on best approaches when needed.

Main Duties:

• Management of client onboarding e.g. setting up social media channels with their internal systems, set up of ad accounts and installation of Facebook pixel

• Research and develop content plans for various clients on a range of digital marketing channels

• Creation of strategies and plans against client goals and objectives

• Development of customer personas based on clients target audience

• Research, writing and editing of blog posts as per agreed content plan in line with current SEO best practices

• Publishing blogs and website content on WordPress sites for clients

• Optimising web pages for SEO keywords using the Yoast plugin

• Craft social media posts including selecting appropriate graphics using Canva

• Management of client social accounts to include Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest

• Scheduling social media posts using Hootsuite, Later, Buffer and Facebook Creator Studio

• Monitoring content interactions including replying to comments, answering direct messages and engaging as Bold Online Marketing

• Creation, management and monitoring of ad campaigns including making adjustments where necessary e.g. when an ad isn’t performing as expected

• Collating monthly metrics and producing quarterly reports for various clients to communicate digital marketing performance

• Attending meetings with clients on a regular basis to review digital marketing efforts and highlight new opportunities

• General content creation as and when required including videos, eBooks, web pages etc.

The suitable person must have excellent attention to details with the ability to work well under pressure and be able to work independently. You will need to have a creative flair and think outside the box. This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Thursday in the office and working from home on a Friday. You will be provided with a company laptop and receive the best training and support from the team. Onsite car parking also available.
