Warehouse Operator
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Wages: From £10.42 per hour
Doordeals are an internet based Timber door retailer. Having had exceptional growth over the several years Doordeals are now looking to recruit extra Warehouse operatives to join the team at our new Sheepbridge warehouse to help drive and support our rapid growth.
The job is based on 40 hours and will involve working between the hours of 8am – 6pm Mon –Friday with flexibility on start times.
The role will include:
· Lifting and moving bulky stock items
· Picking and allocating stock
· Packaging goods up for dispatch
· Checking quality of goods
· Glazing timber doors (training provided)
· Loading and unloading vehicles both manually & with FLT (training provided if required)
· Checking products off against delivery notes (checking door sizes with tape measure, measuring glass apertures etc...)
· Inputting data onto a computer system.
· Stock checking.
· Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
· Occasional local deliveries.
Requirements:
· Strong on attention to detail.
· Drivers licence desirable but not essential.
· Being able to keep a focus on the job to hand.
· Energetic, enthusiastic, hard working, with a can-do attitude.
· Work to time constraints, work under pressure and well organized.
· Able to understand and read metric and imperial measurements.
· Physically fit to move and carry heavy goods within a team.
· General DIY knowledge would be an advantage.
