Early Years Teaching Assistant - Hazelbury Bryan Primary School

Full Time, Term Time Only - 32.5 Hours a Week

Fixed Term for 1 Year: To commence: 1 September 2023

Grade 5, SCP 4-6

The Governors of Hazelbury Bryan Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified teaching assistant to join our rapidly evolving team in our wonderful nursery.

The successful candidate will have high expectations of pupils, be highly committed, enthusiastic and have Early Years experience.

Hazelbury Bryan Primary School is committed to safeguarding, to promoting the welfare of children and adhering to the Equality Act 2010. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. To comply with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 all prospective employees will be required to supply evidence of eligibility to work in the UK.

Hazelbury Bryan Primary School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children.

All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not be on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.

The salary shown is for a full academic year being worked and includes paid annual leave entitlement for an employee with under 5 years’ service.
