This is a busy GP surgery based in Fulham. To be successful in the role you will need the following attributes and experience:

We are seeking a well-motivated a phlebotomist/HCA trainee to train in our practice in Fulham on a training contract and commitment to us for 2 years.
You will learn Essential Health acre assistant skills required: chronic disease management specially Diabetes and Diabetes prevention, NHS health checks vital signs including Blood pressure taking and monitoring , injection ( flu pneumococcal and travel), ECG, health promotion, Wound Care and stitches removal.
Extensive collaborative working ethic with a multi-disciplinary team within the practice which currently consists of GPs, Pharmacists, Advanced Nurse practitioners which enhances the general working environment and patient care.
Requirements:
- To exhibit excellent communication skills when dealing with clients. Non-verbal and verbal skills required.
- Experienced Phlebotomists from Hospitals are welcome to apply if they would like to have a career in Primary Care.
- Benefits
- Hours per week 25 hours (inc one Saturday per month)
- Salary: starting from £20,000 FTE increasing gradually when you have completed your courses and started running Healthcare assistant clinics.
- You will be expected to work at least 3 days a week to cover the hours.
- Post probationary period, eligibility to our twice-yearly profit share bonus scheme
- 1 Saturday per month 8-3pm
