BRIEF OVERVIEW

At DSV we are looking for a Client Account Manager to join our team based in Manchester or Sheffield.

Our Client Account Management team manage the relationship with our client base, taking full ownership of their customer satisfaction and development, to ensure profitable growth for DSV.

The Account Manager, Client interacts closely with product staff, working across all departments and all modes.

The CAM team bring key value to their customers and the business by building trust, and ensuring they identify opportunities that benefit all parties. Our goal is to retain and develop loyal customers for a long-term mutually agreeable partnership.


KEY TASKS

Management of Air & Sea and XPress client accounts – retention and development

Exhaust all opportunities within your client base

Customer service – Making sure that the customer feels important and valued

Understand your customer and their logistic requirements

Handling complaints, challenging process & identifying improvements

Updating CRM Dynamics (calls, visits & opportunities all logged in Dynamics)

Manage accounts with Dynamics and ensure team standards are applied

Profile all existing accounts, identify opportunities for development

Ensure a structured hand over on all accounts from Sales to CAM

Review monthly customer activity, and analyse reasons for up and down traders

To support any projects when required

Knowledge of DSV products / services – Making sure that all customers are aware of all products

Work with our Customer Defection forecasting too, NPS Customer satisfaction programme, and At Risk Accounts reporting

Set up of KPI reporting and MYDSV and any other support tools, when applicable


ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ work-related experience
A positive thinker, you are the kind of individual who constantly challenges yourself to exceed expectations and is not easily deterred from achieving goals.
Excellent interpersonal & administration skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels within the business, good persuasive and negotiation skills.
Excellent processing & time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Driving success via using initiative, determination & persistent
