We need a dynamic Professional Services Director to manage and grow our existing team. As an experienced SaaS implementation leader, your mission will be to take end to end accountability managing PMO, Consulting, and Configuration Engineering teams. You will be a strong virtual team leader to both our internal teams and our customers, helping us to accelerate our customers' use of our products by selling and delivering transformative programmes of work that go beyond simple configuration and include change management, project delivery, optimisation and more.


To succeed in this role, you will need high commercial acumen, good familiarity with Financial Services as an industry, and a passion for implementation services. Reporting to the Global Head of Client Engagement based in the US, you will take a key leadership role in the UK, playing a hands-on role in maturing services and capabilities in a small but fast growing startup embedded services business. This role is based in the UK, and candidates should be able to get to London (Clerkenwell) at least a few days a week.


Overall, you will be accountable for:

  • Leadership of a globally distributed team and accountability for pipeline management, revenue attainment, and profitability of a diverse group of functional resources
  • Scalability and increasing maturity by creating additional offerings that can be sold to customers as well as continuous improvement of tooling and operational rhythms
  • Partnering with teams in the Client Engagement department to support Sales partners as a senior leader of the Revenue organisation

Core Responsibilities and ownership areas:

  • Identify and Close at least £2.5M in revenue (Year 1) through new customer acquisition as well as grow assigned (existing) customer accounts.
  • Continue to advance the Duco brand and demonstrate thought leadership on a variety of industry, business, and technology challenges and how data management can deliver transformative value.
  • Lead workshops, Whiteboard sessions, anchor, and shepherd conversations to spot and expand the value by looking at the problem holistically and positioning Duco’s digital capabilities to solve for them.
  • Spot tangible market opportunities, incubate, and build new services and solutions
  • Own the P&L for one of the lines of business and be responsible for growing and profitably operating the same. Actively review and manage on-time, on-budget, and on-quality project delivery. Consistently looking to improve quality and profitability.
  • Manage a team of direct and indirect resources and build a highly engaged and performing team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a client-facing role in a consulting firm, advocating and delivering digital transformation services/ solutions.
  • At least 3-5 Years of experience managing a book of business P&L of $1+ Million dollars and operating with Gross Margins of 10%+.
  • Experience managing $1M to $3M Sales Quota through a combination of new logo sales and expanding assigned accounts with a track record of consistently growing them
  • Deep expertise in advising customers to focus on the right opportunities, leading discovery/envisioning activities, and developing and demonstrating the “art of the possible” with holistic solutions
  • Extensive experience in stitching together the right combinatory levers like strategy, Process, Change Management, Technology, and services/solutions including but not limited to Business Design, Process Re-engineering, Custom integrations, and Data Management
  • Flexibility in your approach, in the face of rapid organisational and environmental change

How You Will Succeed:

  • Create service offerings aligned to enterprise and commercial market segments, including value positioning, scope of services, collateral, and pricing.
  • Managing the PS team through the successful creation of Duco solutions
  • Ensure completion of projects on-time and on-budget
  • Drive projects and initiatives that meet or exceed our revenue commitments
  • Ensure the successful completion of quality product and solution implementations utilising strong leadership, project and resource management skills
  • Be accountable for services' financial goals and metrics, including bookings, revenue, gross margin, and utilisation
  • Act as an evangelist for services, assisting sales with selling and serving as an executive sponsor for our strategic customers
  • Provide status reports/KPIs to the management team and other internal staff
  • Actively participate in the refinement and implementation of internal processes and procedures based on client feedback to support Duco in solution/service deployment, and customer relationship management
  • Ability to drive projects in a matrix management environment that includes influencing, efficiency, collaboration, and openness with a focus on results orientation
  • Coach and guide your team to professionally, appropriately, and independently manage implementation and project management for all levels of customer engagements

KPIs

  • Completion of initiatives to improve quality, reliability, and repeatability of services
  • Financial success for the Professional Services organisation (i.e., bookings, revenue, project and gross margin, revenue per employee and billable employee)
  • Delivery metrics (i.e., customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, utilisation)
