Job Title: Working Supervisor - Pumping Station Works

Are you an experienced working supervisor with a strong background in pumping station works? We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on individual to join our team at Durateam Global. As a working supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and actively participating in small planned works projects, ensuring their successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and actively participate in small planned works projects at pumping stations, including the replacement of flow meters, pumps, pipework, distribution boards, and other related equipment.
• Providing guidance, support, and hands-on assistance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices, promoting a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to project specifications.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, such as clients, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Assist with the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for the projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, taking proactive measures to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including work schedules, progress reports, and completion records.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) qualification.
• Confined Space training (preferred).
• Proven experience in working as a supervisor in pumping station works, with hands-on involvement in replacing flow meters, pumps, pipework, distribution boards, etc.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures, particularly within a construction or utilities environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Physical fitness and ability to carry out manual tasks involved in pumping station works.
