Position Overview & Specifications
Role purpose
Support the Product Owners in curating the backlog, generating user stories and collaborating with the development teams in delivering new Dynamic Planner product features or client implementations.
Through learning the Dynamic Planner product set, developing your understanding of the Financial Advice domain, evolving our agile processes and making a great contribution within our delivery team
Key responsibilities
- Guide and coach the scrum team with following Agile practices, specifically Kanban, Scrum, DevOps, Lean product development.
- Help provide vision and direction to the scrum team and stakeholders.
- Support the Product Owner in planning and prioritising the backlog according to business value.
- Support the Product Owner & scrum team to ensure adequate amount of refined stories are available to work on.
- Support iteration planning, realisation of user stories and release planning.
- Ensure impediments impacting successful team completion of sprint goals are removed.
- Escalate key risks and issues to the project board.
- Conduct retrospectives and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on team deliverables, provide metrics and actively look to improve it.
- Keep abreast with agile best practices and new trends.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders to share best practice and ensure consistency in the application of agile methodologies across the organisation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating feedback sessions and promoting open communication among team members.

Experience
Experience in a Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team is a must.
Personal financial advice domain knowledge would be a bonus.
Experience in Lean Product Development would be a bonus.
