Anti Social Behaviour Investigator

Job Description

To carry out investigations into complaints of anti-social behaviour in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Requirements

The duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Any information that is disclosed on a basic disclosure will require to be discussed before a formal offer of employment is made.

Responsibilities

These are full time temporary posts until May 2025.

There are 2 posts available.

The hours of work are 35 per week.

Due to the nature of this post some evening and weekend work may be required.

The admin base for this post is Risk Management Centre, Council HQ, London Road.

The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ - 50-79% of time is office based. Able to work at different/ multiple work locations. Occasionally works at home, or another location 1-2 days per week, or directly home to external appointments.

There will be a requirement to work throughout the whole of East Ayrshire.

The salary for these posts is £26900 - £29156.
