Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated Agricultural Instructor based at our Houghall Campus (with an expectation that you will be able to work across all 3 sites) on a full time basis.

Main Duties of the Role:

Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all through working as part of the agriculture teaching team, you will deliver a variety of engaging and challenging practical lessons throughout the week on our modern farm with a focus on livestock, machinery and estate skills. You will contribute towards the assessment of learners practical skills through regular progress tracking and formative assessment.

Essential Requirement:

  • Minimum of a level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Recent industry experience in agriculture, working on a range of farms with machinery, livestock and estate experience.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • A passion for seeing young people achieve and progress
