Product Owner

Edenred PayTech is now hiring a Product Owner to come and join our dynamic Product team. This is a fast-paced, challenging, yet rewarding opportunity, where you will be working with our clients, and bridging the gap between our Product Managers and Tech teams.
You will be working on our various projects, confirming the product vision, and conveying it to the team, supporting teams by providing requirements into user stories, and prioritsing requirements. Alongside this, you will be collaborating with stakeholders to understand the business requirements and drive continuous improvements across the development teams.

This is a Hybrid position, where you can be located from both our Swindon and London offices, and you would be required to attend either office on a weekly basis (location to be confirmed during interview process).
What you will be doing:
  • Support the Product Manager in tasks around the product domain as required
  • Participate in scrum meetings and product sprints
  • Manage and prioritise backlog, keeping abreast of evolving requirements; and agree sprint goals, ensuring focus is on adding value and meeting the business goal.
  • Adapting to changes in requirements
  • Ensure epics and user stories are clear and concise and meet business requirements
  • Provide Product Owner sign off to completed user stories, ensuring definition of done is adhered to
  • Provide support to the team to address impediments and seek help from outside the team if required to resolve
  • Minimise technical debt built into product
  • Evaluate and monitor product progress, identify areas of improvement
  • Provide reporting on status and future deliverables roadmap to customers and key stakeholders.
  • Support team members to achieve company objectives along with promoting a positive collaborative atmosphere

  • Positive attitude and outlook, determined, enthusiastic, and resilient
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with teams both onshore and offshore.
  • Ability to empathise with clients and & internal users to better understand their needs and pain points.
  • Quick learner within a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently with agreed remit and autonomy
  • Highly organised, with proven experience working within an agile environment and the Atlassian tool set (Jira/Confluence)
  • Clear concise reporting, outlining key points
  • Analytical mind-set and can evaluate the value of the deliverables to the business requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail
