Accounts Payable Assistant

Accounts Payable (full time or part time) – We are a highly respected electrical wholesale company who are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team based in Chelmsford on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum of 25 hours per week).

As the Accounts Payable Assistant you will take on a variety of administration and general office duties to support a busy sales team, including:

· Processing Goods Received paperwork on to in-house system.

· Processing and posting of Supplier Invoices through in-house system.

· Purchase ledger and processing customer credits.

· Filing paperwork in a timely manner.

· Daily banking reconciliation.

This is a critical role to support the smooth running of the sales office so the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar accountsor office-based role providing similar support. Have English and Maths, minimum of grade C/4 or above. Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and IT literate. You will have the ability to work in an organised way and manage time effectively.

We are looking for someone who is looking for full-time or part-time working minimum of 25 hours per week. The office is manned Monday to Friday (8 am to 6 pm). On offer a salary is a competitive salary (depending on experience) which will be pro-rate for part time role. There is the opportunity to earn annual bonus. Holiday entitlement is 25 Days plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time hours) and free onsite parking. Although looking for someone to be full-time or part-time, will consider a job share for the role too (part time hours to be discussed at interview stage).
