Position: Art Teacher

Daily rate: £140-£160 per day

Education World are supporting a 'GOOD' secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees. They are committed to providing exceptional educational to students of all levels. Priding themselves on creating a friendly and nurturing environment where students can flourish and develop a deep understanding of mathematics. The team is comprised of passionate educators who strive to make a difference in the lives of young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and progress of students in allocated classes.
  • Supervision of work of any classroom support staff during times they are allocated to classes.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to tailor lessons accordingly.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and boosts their confidence.
  • Develop personalised learning plans to address individual student needs and learning styles.
  • Monitor student performance and make necessary adjustments to teaching methods as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an art teacher, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of various artistic techniques, art history, and contemporary art practices.
  • Proficient in instructing students on the use of traditional and digital art tools and software.
  • Excellent knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Strong ability to engage and inspire students, fostering a love for learning.
  • Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Effective communication skills to provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo the screening process.
  • QTS
