Warehouse Operative Multi Skilled

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative (Noons) at our Warehouse in Meir Park.

Monday - Thursday - 1.45pm - 10.00pm

Friday - 12.45pm - 8.00pm

The Warehouse operative works with goods that have been delivered into the warehouse from manufacturing & external suppliers. Daily duties are picking orders, packing orders, checking for damaged or missing items, moving stock around by hand and possibly using forklift truck.

Key duties and responsibilities:

· Pick accurately and meet the EB minimum standard

· Pack diligently whilst auditing the accuracy of the order. Pack to the EB minimum standard

· Ensure all your duties are conducted to produce a “Best in Class Service”, Inferring a customer centric focus (what would you expect when receiving an EB order?)

· Goods-In, sort as accurately as possible with the tools provided. Meeting the EB minimum standard

· Goods -In, always put away deliveries accurately using the RF technology, avoid overstocking bays or mis bins. Meeting the EB minimum standard.

· Goods -In, always replenish inventory accurately using the RF technology, ensuring all products are adequately maintained. Meeting the EB minimum standard.

Other duties and responsibilities:

· Always treat fellow colleagues with respect and without prejudice or discrimination

· Conducting any other reasonable tasks as required by the business

· Participate in the success of a new WMS system, offer feedback to your line manager and positively embrace new ways of working in a paperless process

· Working in a safe manner taking care for your own health and safety

· Ensuring your work environment is safe, clean and tidy

Education & Qualifications

· Counterbalance and or Reach truck would be desirable

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

· Good communication skills

· Good organisational and time management skills

· An ability to perform under pressure

· Accuracy and eye for detail

· Positive attitude and enthusiastic approach towards work

· Good team-player skills

· A willingness to undertake training as required
