Position Overview & Specifications

Empowering Learning are currently on behalf of an Oldham based secondary school for an Art and Technology Technician. This Art and Technology Technician roles is starting as soon as possible and will last until July, the role may be extended beyond this for the right candidate.

The school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Art and Technology Technician to join our Art and Technology team.

The duties for this Art and Technology role include:

Supporting students’ learning by preparing resources and supporting in practical lessons

providing guidance to teaching staff

and promoting health and safety within the department.

The successful Art and Technology Technician will need excellent communication skills and a “can do” attitude.

You will also take a lead role in supporting the Head of Art, Design and Technology in ensuring health and safety requirements are followed, including maintaining and arranging servicing for equipment.

Salary: £75.00-£100.00 per day

Education:

  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • QTS (preferred)
