About the role

As an HR Administrator you will undertake a period of practical learning in the HR team to develop the skills of an HR Administrator. This offers a pathway to developing a career in Human Resources, from the starting point of an HR Administrator.

The role provides a range of HR services and HR administration, working with ENB processes and systems, to support the employee lifecycle, recruitment and also undertaking other HR data projects.As an HR Administrator you will work on a permanent basis and the role is available for immediate start.

The working hours for this role of HR Administrator are 10:00-18:00 and you will have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis after successfully completing your probation.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake an initial period of guided, practical learning in order to develop a good understanding of the different areas of HR administration work
  • Develop a good working knowledge of the main systems, processes and procedures relevant to the role, in order to become operational in a short space of time
  • Support the administration of designated recruitment campaigns and processes, working on the in-house recruitment system and making updates as needed
  • Work on designated HR data projects, with a methodical and consistent approach; maintain tracking spreadsheets and provide updates on progress
  • Develop an understanding of the process steps involved in each area of activity in order to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

Key Selection Criteria

  • Ability to learn and develop the practical skills needed to deliver work to a high standard across the employee lifecycle
  • A good track record, through either previous work or Further Education, in delivering accurate and well-presented written work and documentation
  • Highly competent user of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new systems and databases
  • Respect for confidentiality and for measures to ensure secure management of all employment data
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail with accurate data entry and proofreading ability
