Class 2 Driver

We are looking for a permanent Class 2 Drivers to work out of our recycling facility in Grantham. We want people who thrive in a diverse and challenging work environment.

Candidates will be involved in the well-publicised industry of electronics recycling.

Your duties will include deliveries and collections of large and small electrical equipment; you will be required to have manual handling skills.

Candidates will be acting on behalf of the company ensuring the client is treated courteously and respectfully and that their requirements are complied with.

Duties will include:

• Undertaking the necessary daily checks on the vehicle
• Carrying out duties according to their programme of works and works instructions
• Ensuring that each day all completed work is detailed on the daily worksheet
• Maintaining regular contact with the line manager
• Conforming to all applicable site rules when off loading/loading at sites
• Carrying out any other duties that may be required as directed by the line manager

Candidates must be reliable with a good work ethic, be required to follow health and safety guidelines, and correct manual handling procedures.

Essential Requirements:

• Class 2 Driving License (must have 2 years previous driving experience)
• Flexibility and Good work ethics with a good attitude.
• Good Digital Tachograph Knowledge. (The company do not want you to receive any infringements and will not push you to the limits)
• An up to date Driver CPC Card

The working hours are Monday to Friday morning starts and may include Saturdays.

1 Weeks driver training will be given.
