The role of our Junior Finance Assistant is to support the Management Accountant and be responsible for efficient and accurate recording of transactions, preparation and presentation of actual and budgeted financial records and transactions and reports of management information.
Working alongside the Senior Management Accountant, the postholder will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and production of monthly reports on the financial performance and investigating variances/correcting errors where necessary for dedicated departmental activities.

The role is ideal for someone with previous experience of working within a finance department and who has basic accounting knowledge of Journals (accruals and prepayments).
You’ll need excellent numerical skills; with attention to detail and accuracy, basic accounting knowledge of journals (accruals and prepayments) and a results focused, self-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
This busy position requires excellent organisational skills, with creativity to be able to develop and implement new ways of working that are proactive and solution oriented.
