Essential is recruiting for a Food Processing Worker to join the Manufacturing team.
This is a part-time (32 hrs) temporary (6 months) position based at our warehouse in Fishponds. In the role you will work across all aspects of food processing and packaging, producing our Essential own-brand foods for wholesale, retail, and catering.
The successful candidate should preferably have some experience of food processing or other manufacturing work, as well as working with computers, and a good understanding of hygiene and health and safety practices. You will need to be well-organised, self-motivated, a good team player, and able to show great attention to detail.
The business operates Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm, although there may be some flexibility in Manufacturing, where you could start and finish earlier, depending on the work.
Essential is a living wage foundation accredited employer. The starting rate of pay for this position is £11.26 per hour along with a generous staff discount.
