We are looking for an HGV Class 1 driver to join our company to carry out a night trunking duties. Drivers will be expected to to attend our Bideford site to carry out a night trunk in an artic vehicle to the pallet hub in the midlands, unload reload and return to base.

Responsibilities and Duties For Night Trunk Driver
Key Task Requirements
- Ensure the most direct truck friendly route is taken
- Ensure the vehicle is safe and fit to be on the road by carrying out adequate daily checks.
- Work within the tachograph and working time directive laws
- Meet our connection times for loading and unloading at the pallet hub
- Able to work on own initiative and part of a team
- Report any issues effectively and promptly to management
- Be able to work to a productive nature.
Qualifications and Skills For Night Trunk Driver
Key Skill Requirements
- Full driving licence with C+E vocation
- In date driver CPC and digital tachograph
- Posses good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Have a reason able level of fitness
- Presentable, good attitude and polite.
- Counterbalance forklift experience beneficial but not essential
- LST experience beneficial but not essential
