Finance Assistant

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a confident and proactive Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team. The role will offer practical finance experience including billing, accounts payable and management accounts with study support included. This role will be London based with remote working available.

You should have proven experience in a finance role. You must be computer literate, particularly with Microsoft Office packages, and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain the purchase ledger accurately, orderly, and in an efficient manner.

· Process supplier invoices onto Sage50.

· Reconcile supplier accounts.

· Raise payment lists for BACs and organise internal approvals.

· Manage company’s purchase order system

· Logging and resolving supplier queries

· Reviewing and flagging up potentially problematic supplier accounts

· Supporting the finance manager with month end duties

· Maintain credit card expenses

· Issue sales invoices

In addition, the ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver, have good persuasion skills and a friendly and personable manner.

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
• Finance: 1 year (preferred)
