Position Overview & Specifications
We want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of PMO experience and awareness of new and emerging technologies and developments.
Responsibilities:
- The production, updating and monitoring of programmes using MS Project
- Obtaining information from the project team to input into programmes
- Ensuring the production and reporting of up to date programmes throughout the duration of projects using MS Project
- Reviewing progress with input from the project team and producing reports as necessary
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
- An additional course or certification in Business Consulting
- MS Project / MS Project Professional
- Excellent client-facing skills
- Team work and emotional intelligence
- Good self-management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-set
- Knowledge of applications/technology knowledge, building on specialist domain knowledge. Has practical experience of and is proficient with project management tools and frameworks required to deliver
- Knowledge of client/server architecture, object-oriented design/development, and package implementation
- Extensive use of MS Project and MS Project Professional
- Applying problem-solving methodologies and tools to diagnose and solving problems
- Providing technical guidance to enable others and solving technical queries from junior colleagues
- Using project management tools, tracking plans and actual statistics from inception through to implementation
- You'll also need to be flexible to travel to client sites across the UK as required.
