Part Time Bakery Delivery Driver required

Due to recent expansion we require a part time bakery delivery driver to work 3 days per week, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. The driver will be required to make approximately 10- 15 deliveries per shift and will be required to make up orders throughout.

The route will involve you delivering to mostly Home Bargains stores within the central belt on South of Glasgow as well as Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Livingstone and outer Edinburgh stores. You will be working the hours will typically begin at 5am with a 2:30pm finish including the time taken for loading and paperwork etc.

Wages are paid on an hourly basis at a rate of £10.42 per hour plus commission based on weekly sales. On average your daily shift will be approximately nine and a half hours, the position is 3 days per week with Sundays and Mondays off.

A week or so of training will be provided on one of our existing Glasgow routes followed by you being shown and introduced to the managers of your own stores prior to beginning your own route.

This will be a new delivery route, an ideal candidate would be someone with flexibility and drive to help us get it set up and running in a way that works with our existing Glasgow route as effectively as possible in a manner that works for the company as well as your self and the driver of the other Glasgow route.
