Domestic Helper (cleaner / companion)

If you have a passion for helping the elderly, or busy families we want to hear from you, lend a helping hand completing domestic tasks which may include, but aren't limited to;

De-cluttering of homes and light maintenance

Domestic cleaning and household tasks,

Laundry support washing, ironing

Making beds

Meal preparation

Companionship, sitting with the elderly or other people to allow respite for their carers

Taking clients to doctors, hospital appointments, hairdressers, bingo, lunches etc

Taking clients food shopping enabling people to still have choices and feel part of their community

or doing shopping for them

Dog walking

Household jobs

Basic gardening

Choose exactly what you'd like to help with by selecting which jobs and or clients you take on.

Advise on your preferable times/days and locations for work.

Driving will be an advantage for you being able to take on more clients.

A DBS check is required for this role, however we can help you to obtain this.

Part-time hours: chosen by you as little as 2hrs per week or as much as 30 per week built over a few weeks.

Salary: £11-£12.00 per hour depending on experience

Home helpers are sometimes requested to wear a mask during visits to clients.

Experience Cleaning/housekeeping: preferred

DBS: preferred

Driving Licence: preferred
