Position Overview & Specifications

Due to continued expansion, we are now recruiting for a trainee Telecommunications / Network Engineer (office and field based).

The role will ideally suit an enthusiastic, willing to learn and technically minded individual, who is looking to embrace the technical challenges in the industry and has a view to career progression.

An ever growing company with a finely tuned sense of responsibility and a wealth of experience in the supply and support of Wholesale Line Rentals, Network Call Minutes and communications platforms, ranging from traditional telephone systems to full SIP, IP voice and data installations.

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Learning the Installation of on premises and cloud LG IPECS telephony systems
  • System maintenance
  • Remote diagnostics
  • Technical support
  • Faults
  • Cabling
  • Wireless LAN
  • CRM integration

The successful applicant will be comfortable with customer facing situations, well presented and has excellent communications skills and is able to work independently.

Our comprehensive benefits package include:

  • Salary of £18,000 P/A
  • 20 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays
  • Tools, laptop and uniform
  • Pension scheme

Once the successful applicant is able to work field based independently, the salary will be reviewed and a company vehicle will be provided.
