Assistant Project Surveyor

The Client
Our Client is an industry leading Tier 1 Main Contractor who take a sustainable approach within construction. Due to an increased workload, they are looking to recruit Assistant Project Surveyors for their projects in the West Midlands.

The Role
Working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor, you will be responsible for cost planning and commercial management throughout the entire life cycle of projects, from inception to post-completion. You will be working out of the office based in the West Midlands, and covering surrounding sites.

Duties & Responsibilities
Acquisition of subcontractor packages
Measurement of variations to the contract
Payment to all sub-contractors following final package valuation
Validation of invoices
Issuing instructions to sub-contractors
Attending specification meetings to ensure you are aware of site specific specification requirements
Place and issue sub-contract orders in accordance with Group Policy and Commercial Best Practice to budget within programme requirements.
Attend and minute all sub-contract order adjudication meetings.
Work alongside the Senior QS & QS to aid with all additional requirements

Requirements
HND/HNC in Surveying or equivalent
Must have experience of working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor at Assistant Project Surveyor level
