Field Vision Bars are a Festival and Venue Bar Operator, delivering the likes of Bluedot, Boomtown, Kendal Calling & The Long Road Festivals alongside established venues such as Printworks, Dockyards and The Beams London. We work across both Progress Centre & Love Factory as our newest venues and we’re looking for Bartenders to deliver flawless & efficient service across the 2 bars.

A new outdoor venue for Manchester (but under cover!), Progress Centre has 2 bars - 1 container bar in the courtyard and a modular bar in the covered space. Love Factory has 1 large bar, increasing to 2 on busier, sold out show nights. Shifts are generally 13:00 - 00:00 or 16:00 - 00:00 (subject to change and program for each show).

We are looking for a self-motivated and active individual who is confident in their capacity to serve alcohol in line with licensing objectives, challenge 25 and upsell as much as possible! You will have at least 6 months experience, ideally at festivals or nightclubs with large volume, fast paced service. The bars will be cashless and entirely packaged stock – no keg experience is required for this role!

You will be organised and tidy by nature with a keen eye for attention to detail and a natural communicator, who enjoys working in a vibrant, live music environment and is a friendly, team player! A small team of just 15, we're looking for outgoing and confident individuals to create a bar team that is charismatic and experience focused.

We encourage applications from those with an interest in live and electronic music!

Successful Candidates will be invited for a video call interview week commencing 8th May.

Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Working with the whole team to deliver the day to day running of the bar.
  • Creating a fun, upbeat and summery atmosphere
  • Ensuring a high quality of service.
  • Following licensing, H&S and any security specifics
  • Challenge 25
  • Taking payments
  • Garnish preparation
  • Restocking cups and straws

What you’ll need:

  • 6 months Bartender experience, ideally in festivals or night clubs
  • A can-do attitude and calm head when it gets busy
  • An infectious smile and outgoing personality to create a great buzz and customer experience
  • Phenomenal communication skills
  • Able to deliver high standards consistently
