Tax Accountant - CPA Firm
Fremont, CA CPA firm has an immediate opening for a Tax Accountant (CPA or CPA candidate) with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Duties will include tax return preparation, financial statement preparation and general accounting. Our client base consists of a variety of interesting local businesses and high net worth individuals. Competitive salary and benefits. The compensation begins at $29 per hour plus overtime (15%), holidays, paid time-off, continuing education, health benefits, and retirement. The compensation package increases based on work experience.
The candidate will be able to work remotely on a part-time basis depending on the time of year and the workload.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
Master's Degree in Taxation preferred. Master's Degree in Accounting and tax experience will also fit our position..
CPA or CPA candidate.
QuickBooks experience - desktop and online.
Experience with Creative Solutions Ultra Tax a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with strong oral and written communication is a must.
Solid team player.
Responsibilities:
Reconciliation of client accounting records and the preparation of Financial Statements.
Tax Return preparation - individual, partnership, corporations and other entities.
Communication with clients on an ongoing basis.
Ability to research tax issues and resolve independently.
