UI/UX Design Intern

Finz is a London- based fintech startup focused on offering a next-generation payment card experience with tailored rewards and benefits for younger people in the UK.

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer as an intern to join our team. This role will involve working on both our mobile app and web platform, creating intuitive and visually appealing designs that enhance the user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product team to translate user requirements into compelling UI/UX designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Assist in maintaining a design system for consistent branding and user experience.

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects.
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Understanding of mobile app and web design principles, including responsive design and accessibility.
• Familiarity with user-centered design processes and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
• Passion for fintech and eagerness to contribute to a fast-paced startup environment.
