· Basic Salary: £45,000 to £60,000

The Role: Permit Officer
Accountable to the Permit Office Lead for the day to day running of work control and authorisation of Mechanical and Electrical Safety documents following the Permit Office Procedure and Key Control Process. You will also be responsible for:
· Control M,E&I works from the M&E Permit Office
· Provide “front of house” services from the Permit Office
· Issuing and sign back of specific permits and other safety documents on site.
· Maintain and promote high personal standards in Environment, Safety, Health, Security and Quality.
· Ensure the agreed records and documentation are produced and maintained to demonstrate compliance to relevant quality, performance, standards, and legislation.
The Candidate: Permit Officer
You will have a background in the Construction Industry or Health and Safety and the following:
· Security Clearance at SC level with some DV level
· NVQ or equivalent qualification in a Mechanical / Electrical discipline or a recognised apprentice training scheme is essential.
· Experience of applying the processes associated with delivering a fully functioning safety management system essential.
