Warehouse Operative / Order Picker

We are an independent family business which specialise in the Manufacturing and Distribution of specialist PPE Products to customers Worldwide. We are currently looking for an Experienced Warehouse Order Picker & Packer (Full Time Position).

MUST LIVE WITHIN 30-minute COMMUTE OF WAREHOUSE - do not apply if you are not local

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Picking and Packing items securely ready for despatch
• Manual handling of stock, following best practices at all times and maintaining stock integrity.
• heavy lifting will be required at times
• Locating stock into the warehouse racking
• Ensure stock rotation
• Attention to detail is vital
• Ability to follow procedure
• Able to work well under pressure
• Good organisational skills
• Must be able to be on your feet for full shift
• Basic Computer Skills required
• General housekeeping to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.
• Offloading of deliveries and occasionally shipping Containers
• To assist within our customer returns department when required
• Forklift Truck License required
• Must work well in a small team and be flexible
• Training Provided

Hours:

• 8am - 5pm (Monday – Friday)
• Lunch 1-hr (12.30 - 1.30)

Salary: £11.00 per hour
