Site Agent

FM Conway is currently seeking a Site Agent to join our Structures division. Our Structures team are a busy, innovative and thriving area of the business, the scope of projects we have worked on have left a legacy in our field. We have become a staple of the UK’s infrastructure and continuously provide our expertise across London and the South East. As our Site Agent you will support and supervise our major construction projects across Central London.

The Site Agent Role

As a Site Agent you will be responsible for supervising our vital construction projects. We are currently working on several high-profile schemes in London many of which involve refurbishments, routine maintenance and upgrades.

Responsibilities of our Site Agent

• Managing scheme programmes, site mobilisation and software

• Liaising with subcontractors as required and monitoring site resources

• Raising awareness of any change to the site

• Ensuring documented Safe Systems of Work are adhered to

• Managing Site Plant, Labour and Materials

• Managing quality of work and compliance to our quality plan

• Completing and maintaining site records

• Working in conjunction with the Contract Manager and Project Manager to comply with the companies ‘people first, go home safe’ policy

• Utilising internal procurement IT systems

What we’re looking for in our Site Agent

We are looking for a committed Site Agent with previous experience in existing highway infrastructure and associated works. You will have worked with local authorities and have a proven background managing multiple schemes simultaneously.

We’re also looking for someone who has:

• A CSCS – Black Card

• A SMSTS qualification

• Experience of managing a team of subcontractors working on complex projects

• Effective communication skills and high business ethics

• A collaborative working manner to ensure all parties are fully engaged

• The ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a timely manner
