PHP Developer

Who we are looking for:

Following a period of growth, we are looking for a PHP / SQL / Web developer to join our team, working across the group of companies. Either good experience or suitable qualifications are welcome, but genuine development / coding skills are a must.

• Have you got great PHP and SQL skills?
• ARe you confident working with Laravel?
• Are you interested in developing SAAS web applications?
• Are you skilled with website development?
• Then we may just be the next step you are looking for in your Web Development journey

You will become a vital member of our development team, working with the Senior Developer, where you will play an important role in supporting the growth of the business. You will need to be able to work under your own initiative as well as part of the team. Multi-tasking is essential and the team often works in a high-pressured environment.

The role will involve hands-on experience with back and front-end languages in a modern tech stack, including database development and management. It will also involve dealing with clients, colleagues and deadlines.

You must have the following skills already, which you can expect to develop massively within the role:

• A strong knowledge of PHP & SQL are critical, or the ability to adapt other language skills to PHP (Laravel and Vue would be a bonus!)
• A solid understanding of logic and control statements
• The ability to work with popular website content management systems
• The ability to provide technical support to our email and hosting clients
• Problem solving skills, and the ability to think and research under your own steam

Can be remote if national, or office based for those close to our North Cornwall headquarters, or a combination of the two. Occasional attendance at HQ for team meetings will be required.
