Coffee Shop Assistant

We are recruiting for a Coffee Shop Assistant to work at our busy coffee shop within Forde Abbey House and Gardens.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will appreciate the atmosphere and pleasures that this beautiful historical house and gardens provide for our visitors. If you thrive on a challenge, you will love the fact that there is never a dull moment in store and always tasks to be done.

Above all else, our Assistants are the face of our business, providing great service to our loyal visitors. If you have a natural flair for providing outstanding customer service and are looking to become part of strong team working 2-3 days per week, some weekends and Bank Holidays, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Duties will include:

Serve our customers

Helping customers with product enquiries and taking orders

Serving on the Front of House and helping with pot wash duties

The ideal candidate will:

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

This role will involve heavy lifting and a lot of walking

You should have access to reliable transport since there is no public transport. You will be expected to wear black trousers and comfortable shoes; a uniform top will be provided. Training will be given.

Salary – National Minimum Wage
