Manufacturing Operative

FORWARD GLASS is a leading independent company in the flat glass industry, producing and distributing toughened safety glass and other glass products.

We are currently recruiting general production and warehouse operatives for shift work.

Shift hours: Early shift 7.00 am to 3.30 pm, Late shift 3.30 pm to 12.00 pm on a weekly rota basis.

The role includes:-

• Working in our glass cutting, arrissing and toughening departments and in other areas such as glass processing, loading and unloading.

• Assisting with other aspects of production work as required.

The role requires:-

• Being reliable and consistent in all duties

• Good and careful manual handling of our products

• A good appreciation of the importance of quality

• Working efficiently to tight deadlines

• Flexible in relation to overtime working

• Work well as part of a team or on your own initiative

Manufacturing experience an advantage but not essential.
