Our client are looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to join their team!

Overview -

Our client are seeking a talented and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join there home textiles company. As a newly qualified graphic designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs to promote their home textile products and market leading brands, ensuring they align with our clients product and corporate brand hierarchy, whilst understanding their target markets. Your role will involve working closely with the marketing team and creative director to develop creative design led communications and enhance their product brands’s personality and reach in the market.

Responsibilities -

  • Branding: Develop a deep understanding of our clients company's brand identity and ensure that all designs are consistent with their brand guidelines and aesthetics.
  • Research and Trends: Stay updated on current design trends, market demands, and consumer preferences in the home textiles industry to inform your designdecisions and keep our clients brand portfolio fresh and appealing.

  • Technical Specifications: Prepare design files and assets for production, ensuring they meet the necessary technical requirements and are ready for print and digital media.
  • Documentation: Maintain organised records of design files, iterations, and revisions for future reference and easy retrieval.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek feedback from customers, colleagues, and industry professionals to improve design concepts.

Requirements -

  • Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design.
  • NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills, creativity, and proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with home textiles industry trends and a keen interest in interiors design and lifestyle trends.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure design accuracy and quality.
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and understand their requirements.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt designs based on feedback and changing project requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using design software and knowledge of file formats suitable for production processes.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to overcome design challenges and find creative solutions.
  • Experience in any of these areas is a plus!
