Junior Research Practitioner

We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and dedicated healthcare worker to join the research delivery team at Wexham Park Hospital.

The post holder will work with a vibrant team of research nurses and practitioners delivering a broad portfolio of research studies. As a clinical trials junior practitioner, you will support & contribute to the assessment and management of the care pathways for patients and carers participating in clinical trials. This will include the recruitment, education and monitoring of trial patients and the collection and documentation of accurate data

The role is based at Wexham Park Hospital but will involve some cross site working to support delivery teams at Heatherwood Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital.

The Research & Development Department at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Junior research practitioner to join the team in Wexham Park Hospital. This role includes an interesting and varied range of administrative and clinical duties associated with a portfolio of clinical research studies. Great opportunity to step in to clinical research as full training will be given.

Candidates will need to show evidence of being reliable, flexible, mature yet energetic with a positive attitude and professional manner. Administrative duties will include data entry which requires attention to detail, patience and determination. Being a good team player and having a passion for research and health improvement is essential; in return, the successful candidate will gain wide experience and the chance to be part of the growing success of the Wexham Park Clinical Research team.
