CAD Technician - Part-time - 6 months Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a CAD Technician, who is an experienced AutoCAD user, preferably in a utility industry to:

• Manage the operational closure process across all utilities (Gas, Electric, Water & Broadband), ensuring that all closure documentation is checked against minimum standards and submitted to the relevant network owners within timeframes.
• Produce CAD documents where industry obligations apply, manage rejections process both internally and from external stakeholders to ensure that resolutions are received within agreed timeframes.
• Create MU Ccosure templates and a standard object library for use by the team in line with network requirements. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure templates and libraries meet expected standards.
• Support MU Records Coordinators in their production of CAD aslaids, ensuring that they meet industry and stakeholder minimum standards.

Part-time hours: 16 - 20 per week

Salary: £10,810.00-£13,513.00 per year
