Role Overview & Responsibilities

G Marshall (Tractors) Ltd are looking for an experienced individual to manage our parts/stores department at our new depot, which is ready for opening as part of our expansion covering the Lothians area of Scotland:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and perform all associated tasks relating to parts stock levels for the depot to ensure fasting moving parts and accessories are available and stocked to meet staff and customer demand.
  • Work in partnership with our manufacturers to create positive professional relationships and carry out the required tasks as part of manufacturers dealer standards.
  • Create and develop positive external and internal customer relationships by delivering the highest level of customer service possible from the parts department.
  • Manage other parts staff effectively in order to delivery the best service we can to our customers.

Required Experience, Skills & Qualities:

  • Previous experience in a parts environment is required. Preferably in agriculture, but would consider experience in forestry, HGV, plant or other similar trades/industries.
  • A working knowledge of modern machinery is required in one of the industries noted above in order to effectively offer advice to staff and customer requirements.
  • A sound understanding of what is required to deliver professional and positive customer service to internal and external customers.
  • The ability to work with people to create positive and productive working relationships.
  • An understanding of I.T. and stocking systems, along with competent maths and English skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
