Gaming Experts – Manchester Airport

Welcome to a new retail concept at the airport! Are you a gaming fan? Enjoy gaming in your spare time? We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing individuals with a genuine passion for gaming but also customer service.

Working in our new venture at Manchester Airport you will be responsible for introducing, welcoming and helping passengers engage in the new “in airport” gaming and escape room event and PC Gaming Lounge area – making amazing experiences for travelling passengers. You will be helping the passengers to enjoy the virtual reality gaming options as well as gaming PC’s and an F1 Racing Simulator.

Ideal candidates will be outgoing, friendly and able to manage the guests during their experience, making it truly memorable and fun!

What you will be doing:

· Welcoming and introducing the passengers to the concept of the gaming and virtual reality opportunities whilst they are in the airport

· Booking customers into the event and inducting them into the experience, guiding them through until the end.

· Having a commercial and competitive style in encouraging people to have a go

· Being a great ambassador for the virtual gaming outlet

What you need for this position:

· Great customer service skills

· A passion for gaming, virtual reality gaming

· Be 'Tech-savvy' with knowledge of computer systems

· Patient and comfortable when dealing with people

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Outstanding organisational and multi-tasking abilities

Shifts are generally 8 hours in length and can start as early as 4am and finish as late as 10pm, altering from time to time to meet the airports flight schedule. Candidates will need sufficient transport to get to and from the airport at those times.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

Salary: £12.00 per hour
