Parcel Sorter

Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting Parcel Sorters to join their company based in the Bridgend area.

Our client is a busy Warehouse Depot. As such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team. this is a fast-paced working environment with a high proportion of the role involving manual handling.

Start Date- ASAP

Salary: £10.42-£10.80 per hour

Shifts:

• Twilight: Sunday - Friday , 1pm-10pm (approx.)
• Night shift: Sunday to Friday, 11pm-7am (approx.)

Duties:

• Unloading and loading of vehicles ready for distribution
• Ensuring items are handled with care and identify any damaged products
• Handballing
• Placing postal goods into relevant postal codes

Ideal candidate will have:

• Previous team leader experience
• Excellent, professional work ethic
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Own transport due to location

Working as a Twilight or Night Shift Parcel Sorter is a varied role, and you will be joining a large team looking to process customers’ orders ready for next day despatch. You will be joining the UK’s largest parcel company who pride themselves on team engagement and providing their customers with an exemplary service.

Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
