Position Overview & Specifications
Candidates will be required:
· To be aware, understand and actively promote the requirements and needs of all compound roles in successfully achieving the agreed customer requirements.
· To be prepared to work flexibly in order to cover all hours stipulated by the Technical Team Leader.
· Complete PDI and rectification work where required in accordance with Company and Customer procedures and Quality Standards.
· Fit Options and Enhancements in allocated time e.g. Trackers, Ply-lining, Livery, etc. to required procedures and Quality Standards.
· Perform workshop repair tasks as allocated by the Technical Team Leader.
· Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with Manufacturer’s warranty policy and procedures.
· At all times follow procedures and to work to high quality standards.
· Ensure all equipment is checked and safe before using, reporting any discrepancies to the Technical Team Leader.
· Ensure all equipment is calibrated as required and records maintained.
· Sign out and return to stores any tooling or equipment as required.
· Attend daily Team Talk as required.
· Communicate any issues to the Technical Team Leader which impact production flow or quality standards.
· To access and update systems in accordance with either Company or Customer policies or procedures.
· To assist with maintaining work areas with good housekeeping by removing litter/rubbish.
· Any other incidental duties required to provide service to the customer in an efficient and productive manner.
Responsibilities:
· To ensure the quality of service described and laid down in the various working procedures is adhered to and improved upon where possible.
· Be aware of Health and Safety and ISO 9001 requirements.
· Awareness, knowledge and training pertaining to, all environmental issues and aspects within ISO 14001 standard. These requirements may not only be relevant to this job description, but all associated and other tasks that may be required in the day to day running of the business.
· Awareness, knowledge and training pertaining to all energy management issues and aspects within ISO 50001 standard. These requirements will include ongoing site improvements and implementation of more efficient uses of energy through local and organisational objectives, planning and policy and may not be relevant to this job description, but all associated and other tasks that may be required in the day to day running of the business.
