Job Description
Glasgow International (GI), Scotland's Biennial Festival of Contemporary Art is looking for an Assistant Curator to join us on a part time, fixed term contract for a period up to August 2024. As Assistant Curator, you will be joining the team to support the development and delivery of the GI2024 festival programme.

The role
As Assistant Curator - Glasgow International, you’ll be an integral member of GI’s programming team, working closely with the Curator, Open Programme Convenor and Festival Director to develop projects that are part of Glasgow International 2024. You will report to the Festival Director.
If you are interested in joining us as Assistant Curator, you will need:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrable professional experience working in a comparable role
- Demonstrable interest in developing curatorial projects
- Knowledge of the visual arts sector in Scotland
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to multi-task, work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently
- Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills, including the ability to communicate and work with a broad range of stakeholders (artists, partners, general public) A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
