Lecturer in Fine Art (0. 4 FTE)
School of Fine Art
Glasgow Campus
Grade 7 (£41,931.00 - £52,841.00 per annum, pro rata)
Fixed term for 1 year
Applications are invited for 2 x Lecturers in Fine Art (0.4 FTE) to join the School of Fine Art on a fixed term basis.
These posts are to develop, co-ordinate and teach Upskilling courses within the School of Fine Art, building on the school professional and research expertise. These are a new offer within the SoFA and will provide a range of gateway skills for those looking to re-skill and advanced skills for those looking for higher values skills.
Candidates should be educated to Postgraduate level (preferably PhD) in Fine Art or associated subject and have experience of curriculum design, co-ordination and teaching at a range of levels, including HE. A particular expertise in drawing, fine art pedagogy, critical studies and practice-based research would be desirable, as is a sound understanding of a decolonised and EDI aware curriculum.
