The Practice:
GVC are providing recruitment support to a Small Animal Veterinary Practice based in Somerset who are actively recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse join their team.

We are helping assist a practice is Somerset look for a RVN to join their welcoming, friendly and supportive team! This practice has great modern facilities including digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound machines, endoscope, multiparameter machine, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters and separate kennels for dogs and cats! You can bet on once thing; every day will be full of something new! They also are fully supportive and encouraging of any certificates and CPD you are interested in – You will have an allowance and be told to ‘go for it!’. The practice has all the most advanced equipment you would expect in a purpose-built surgery which has been updated as they continue to grow and expand their team and caseload.
Details of the role:
- Role type: Permanent
- Rota Hours: Part time and Full time (37.5 hours)
- Salary: £29,000
- 1:3 Saturday mornings
- No other OOH or On-call
- Mixture of shifts
- CPD and certificates fully funded and encouraged.
- 6.6 weeks annual leave

Applicant requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have the following or clearly be able to demonstrate your suitability for the advertised position should your application not meet the employer requirements.
- Relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university in the country of the advertised position.
- Up to date CPD
- Relevant language skills.
- Licenced to provide veterinary care in the relevant country.
- Any other relevant requirements for the job.
