Brewery Delivery Driver

Here at Goffs Brewery it's all about delivering great beer to our customers! We are looking to recruit a second Dray to join our friendly team and be the daily face of the brewery.

This will be a full time Monday to Friday role - hours are as required by the business but usually 8.30am to 5.00pm. However there may be longer or shorter days so a flexible approach is needed.

Duties include

• Picking stock for the daily deliveries
• Effectively loading our vehicles to prevent damage during transit
• Unloading our vans and trucks
• Maintaining the cleanliness of our vehicles
• Delivering casks door to door to our accounts
• Building great relationships with our customers
• Collecting our empty casks and returning them to the brewery
• Problem solving whilst out for deliveries (traffic, stock issues etc.)
• Handling cash and filling out all necessary paperwork
• Occasionally helping out as a Warehouse Assistant

Required Experience and Skills (but not limited to)

• Must possess a valid Driver’s Licence, maximum 3 points
• Have previous experience in delivery driving (not required but appreciated)
• Physically fit, hard working & self-motivated
• Reliable and flexible – The regular hours are 8.30am - 5pm but can be later or earlier
• Enjoy working with people – Meeting our accounts and building relationships
• Able to provide outstanding customer service
• Well presented to reflect Goffs Brewery's professional image
• Be able to demonstrate you care about getting it right every time
• Legal right to work in the UK
