Liquidity Solutions (LS) within Global Fixed Income & Currency (GFI) is seeking an associate to join the portfolio management and trading team. The individual will become an integral part of the portfolio management team, interacting closely with the portfolio managers of GFI, salespeople, trading counterparties, operations, controllers and technology. The Liquidity Solutions team is currently split between London and New York.

Liquidity Solutions (LS) within Global Fixed Income & Currency (GFI) is seeking an associate to join the portfolio management and trading team. The individual will become an integral part of the portfolio management team, interacting closely with the portfolio managers of GFI, salespeople, trading counterparties, operations, controllers and technology. The Liquidity Solutions team is currently split between London and New York.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Principal Responsibilities:

• Trading bilateral/tri-party repo, deposits and other short term investments across multiple funds and separately managed accounts
• Support Portfolio Managers with daily responsibilities including trade booking, settlement, breaks and portfolio pricing
• Working closely with internal and external teams including operations, technology, shareholder services, rating agencies and custodians to ensure smooth operation and reporting of the funds
• Money Market portfolio optimisation and enhancement through positioning and asset allocation
• Market commentary and analysis
• Sample portfolio creation

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in fixed income portfolio management / trading / treasury
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
• Positive and progressive mindset, entrepreneurial and ambitious personality
• Strategically minded
• Advance knowledge of Excel
