Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. The role:

The Director of Estates will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the College’s estate and facility support activities including Health and Safety and the College’s capital programme.

• Full Time - 37 hours per week
• Permanent post
• circa £60,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on, develop and implement the College Estates Strategy.
• Long-term comprehensive and integrated physical resource planning for the College, its faculties and departments.
• Management of all aspects of the College’s estate and facility support activities including Health and Safety.
• Planning and organising of resources in support of key strategic capital projects.

About you:

• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
• Sound understanding of the legal and financial aspects of major property projects
• Experience of working at a management level in a large complex organisation
• Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills
